Writing prompts are a fun way to encourage your child to be creative, think, learn something new, and all while improving spelling and vocabulary skills.
Today we have three prompts for your child!
Have Fun Outside Writing Prompt
This activity encourages your child to go outside and write about things they can hear, feel and see.
It also includes a section where they can be creative about something they find outdoors, including examples to get them started!
Things I Love Writing Prompt
This is a great one for encouraging your child to think about and find things they love, like family, friends, chocolate, cookies and more!
They’ll practice writing, thinking, and being creative.
If they have a hard time getting started, have them go to a room in the house or someplace they love to complete the activity.
Car & Elephant Writing Prompt
A fun writing prompt with pictures, this activity also includes a word bank to help them fill in the blanks.
How creative can your child be about an ant talking to an elephant? Will they laugh to see a crab on a car?
They’ll have fun using their imagination with this one!
